The purpose of our 2026 webinar series, Founders’ Stories in Pediatric Innovation, is to demystify the complex lifecycle of pediatric medical device development by bridging the gap between clinical necessity and commercial viability. This series aims to provide actionable insights on the regulatory, design, and funding hurdles unique to the pediatric “orphan market” while simultaneously connecting the MPDC ecosystem with prospective founders, clinicians, and investors. Ultimately, the series seeks to inspire the community through guest stories that prove the pediatric path, while challenging, is both navigable and profoundly impactful.

Episode 1: Who is the MPDC? will cover:

  • Who/what/why is the MPDC?
  • What makes the MPDC so unique in its approach?
  • What is working with the MPDC really like?
  • What are some success stories from past clients?

Why Attend?

If you’re building (or thinking about building) in pediatric medtech, this session will give you clarity on what support can and should look like.
